Launched in 2016, the programme has funded 60 innovative projects in PBC across 10 countries, with two parallel programmes for the United States and for Europe and Canada.
The Practice to Policy® Health Awards Programme is designed to support initiatives that aim to improve health outcomes for people living with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC).
Core to the programme is to provide a platform that encourages innovation, as well as ensuring that learnings from successful projects can be shared.
We are excited to be able to offer financial support to projects that help to inspire change in the liver community.
In 2019, we focused on local and national projects that pioneered collaborative care between healthcare professionals and people living with PBC. For more information on previous projects from the Europe and Canada Practice to Policy® Health Awards Programme, please click here.
The Europe and Canada Practice to Policy® Health Awards Programme is endorsed by the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL).
